With the recent leak that Luke Skywalker will feature in the next Star Wars: Tales series, I am going to share the 3 characters I would most like to see from the series developed into a Hot Toys figure (1 character from each of the 3 seasons so far).

Tales of the Jedi

Kicking things off is Jedi Master Dooku. Ever since Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi released on 26th October 2022, seeing Dooku as a Jedi has been one of my favourite viewing experiences thus far, especially his final episode which occurs concurrently with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace after Dooku has left the Order and explains why Kamino is not in the Jedi Archives in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Hasbro have already revealed a Jedi Dooku Black Series figure based on his appearances from the first 2 episodes, so I would love to see a Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure based on his look in Episode 3.

Tales of the Empire

Next up is who can only be described as the biggest mystery following Star Wars: The Clone Wars… until Star Wars: Tales of the Empire aired. It’s Barris Offee as an Inquisitor. After years of not knowing what happened to Barris following her trial at the end of Season 5 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, this series dove into this plot gap nicely. Whilst we don’t necessarily know how much time she spends as a fully fledged inquisitor, seeing Barris in the outfit was very cool so is one I would love to see on a 1/6th scale.

Tales of the Underworld

To round off this top 3, we have everyone’s favourite child napping Bounty Hunter, Cad Bane. I really enjoyed what Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld did with Cad Bane, seeing him go from a young energetic street rat, to the merciless hunter we got introduced to in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Cad Bane has already been fortunate enough to receive a Hot Toys figure based on his live‑action debut in Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, so having a version of the character based on his younger self would pair nicely with the one already released.
