It’s been almost a full year since Star Wars: Zero Company was revealed to the world at Star Wars Celebration Japan and a few weeks ago we received our next big info dump, courtesy of PC Gamer. Giving us further insight into the story that takes place in the game and tons of features that we’ll get to play around with and experience during our playtime. Below and linked is a video covering all of that information
What the PC Gamer coverage is lacking however is a release date. So when is Star Wars: Zero Company actually coming out?

“…it looked almost ready for prime time with most of 2026 left to go.”
PC Gamer, March 26th 2026
Back in Japan at the Star Wars Celebration panel, which began with a trailer, the game was given a release window of 2026. Obviously, that is rather broad. Given we are now three and a half months into 2026 and PC Gamer was not able to provide any additional comments on release, I think it’s fair to assume that this game will not be releasing until the second half of the year.
We are of course approaching Star Wars Day, May 4th, so there’s always a chance we could see a brand new trailer with a release date for the game around a similar timeframe, though with MONOPOLY Star Wars: Heroes vs Villains being revealed a few days prior on April 29th, Fortnite Star Wars UEFN experiences going live on May 1st, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer presumably getting some big news soon (Surely!?) I feel as though early May could be a little too crowded for Zero Company.

So when else?
Well we are also rapidly approaching the summer of game reveals with the Summer Games Fest in June (5th-8th) and Opening Night Live on August 25th. My assumption therefore is that at some point during the Summer Games Fest, we could see a trailer for Star Wars: Zero Company that provides us with a release date of some point in late September or early October. With Opening Night Live as another touch point for a trailer and then a big marketing push from EA.
Alternatively, Summer Games Fest gets skipped entirely and they go big on marketing as of Opening Night Live and beyond. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens purely because MONOPOLY Star Wars releases on June 11th and I have no doubt that Galactic Racer will release at some point in July or August, so just like May, it could be a crowded summer for Star Wars games.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
