The last few weeks have been HUGE for Star Wars gaming fans. We’ve had new release dates, trailers, delays, and more! So I’ll give you a brief overview of what’s been going on lately.
Star Wars: Zero Company
Perhaps the biggest thing we’ve had is the brand new gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Zero Company at the Summer Games Fest 2026 and its subsequent news drops. The new trailer gave us new looks at various gameplay features such as the Infinite Coils soul transfer system, the permadeath system for our operators, and more. As well as providing us with a bit more insight into the story, ending the trailer with none other than Anakin Skywalker himself. Anakin is said to be on a crucial mission that requires Zero Company’s expertise, what this is though we’ll have to wait and see!
Star Wars: Zero Company will release on August 27th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X and will cost £40 on PC but £50 for PS5 and Xbox. There are 3 editions for this game, the standard, deluxe, and collectors.
The standard edition comes with the base game, which if you pre-order comes with the Crystalline cosmetic pack for Astromechs. The Deluxe edition comes with the Grand Army of the Republic, Shadow Collective and Exclusive painted weapons cosmetic packs. As for the Collectors edition we have no details on that currently so stay tuned.

Yesterday also saw the release of a huge info dump on the game via the EA Star Wars website, so go check that out for more details!
Star Wars: Galactic Racer
The Summer Games Fest 2026 also saw the release of another trailer for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, this time it was the story trailer!
This new trailer gave us a lot of new looks at characters featured in previous trailers and stills, including Sebulba. My biggest shock however, was the fact that Griff Halloran, one of the racers from the sequel animation Star Wars: Resistance, appears a couple of times and is therefore going to be a character in the game.
The trailer looks absolutely fantastic and heavily features podracing, which is something other trailers have been lacking. I cannot wait for this game to release on October 6th later this year. It blows my mind that we have Zero Company at the end of August and at the beginning of October we have another major release in Galactic Racer.
Amy Hennig Star Wars Game
Back in April 2022 it was announced that Amy Hennig would direct a Star Wars game at Skydance New Media. No details were given at the time and since then news has been non-existent…until now!
Thanks to the merger of Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media into one singular studio called Paramount Games Studios, we finally have an update on the game.
All it is though is that the game is still in development (great!) but we won’t here about it until are Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra releases, which was due to be this year but is now looking more likely to be sometime in 2027.
Monopoly Star Wars: Heroes Versus Villains
Another small update, originally due for release tomorrow on June 11th, Monopoly Star Wars: Heroes vs Villains will now be releasing on June 30th. My theory is to allow for the Zero Company and Galactic Racer dust to settle following Summer Games Fest, which should in theory give Monopoly more time to breathe.

Powerwash Simulator 2 – Star Wars DLC
Finally and also at the Summer Games Fest we got a new look at the Star Wars DLC coming to Powerwash Simulator 2. The DLC focuses on the original trilogy and is set for release on July 16th. Whilst this isn’t a major Star Wars release it does look like a lot of mindless fun and certainly helps to fill the void between now and the release of Star Wars: Zero Company
We have so much to look forward to over the next 4-5 months so stay tuned to my YouTube Channel and the website so you don’t miss out!
